Admiralty and maritime law has been a major part of Ms. Miller’s practice since she was admitted to the bar in 1980. Ms. Miller has extensive experience in representing vessel owners, stevedores, towers, underwriters, ship’s agents and freight forwarders in personal injury, cargo, limitation of liability, towage, collision and allision cases, vessel financing, maritime liens and maritime commercial disputes. Ms. Miller also represents insurers and corporate clients in insurance coverage disputes involving various types of both maritime and non maritime policies. Ms. Miller’s trial practice includes the defense of medical malpractice, professional liability and commercial cases. Ms. Miller presently serves as Chancellor for Alabama for the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast and as Honorary Consul for the Kingdom of Norway in Alabama.
