J. Robert Turnipseed Elected as Council Director of Tax Section of the American Bar Association

Armbrecht Jackson LLP congratulates partner J. Robert Turnipseed on his election as Council Director of Tax Section of the American Bar Association (ABA).

At the 2019 Mid-Year Tax Meeting of the Tax Section of the ABA, held from January 17 through January 19, 2019, Robbie Turnipseed was elected as a Council Director for the ABA Tax Section. The Council is the governing body of the ABA Tax Section, and Directors are responsible for directing the work of the various committees of the Section, as well as providing comments to the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of the ABA. Turnipseed previously served as Chair of the Closely Held Business Committee of the Tax Section, and has been involved with the Tax Section for over fifteen years. He has served as a panelist and speaker on numerous panels for the ABA since 2005. Robbie’s term as Council Director will run from 2019 through 2022.
